Who We Are - The Kiwanis Club of Streamwood has been serving the Hanover Township communities since 1999. Over the last 25 years, many citizens and community leaders have joined forces to serve the children, youth and families of our area. Our motto is "to Serve the Children of the World." Together we have worked to make a difference in the live of local children. As a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, we work to provide service and assistance to local child focused organizations and activities.
What We Do - Current efforts and activities includes numerous activities, events, and community investments.
The Youth Services Division provides school supplies, Library projects, School grants, and Pediatric Hospital toys.
The Young Children Priority One programs, which include Kiwanis International Foundation, Kiwanis Neuroscience Research Foundation, and the Streamwood Car Seat Program. As part of the Village of Streamwood new pedestrian/bicycle bridge over route 59 planned to open in 2025, our club is working to sponsor a bike safety/rodeo class and donate certified bicycle helmets to local youth as part of the celebration.
Sponsored Youth Programs include Circle K, Key Club, and Aktion Club through outreach support and donations.
The Kiwanis Club of Streamwood also provides support or assists with many Community Service activities, including but not limited to:
The Community Crisis Center, Streamwood Fishing Derby, Hanover Township Youth and Family Services, Northwest Special Recreation Association, Streamwood Holiday Helping Program, Streamwood Park District Letters to Santa. Ronald McDonald House, Streamwood Park District Cotton Tail Trail, Streamwood Behavioral Center, the Streamwood Park District, Feed My Starving Children, Halloween Trunk or Treat, and finally the Boys and Girls Club.

Come Visit Us - Our Club meets via zoom on the first Thursday of every month at 8:30 am and conducts a monthly Club lunch meeting on the third Tuesday at The Chicago Loop Bar and Grill located at Bartlett Road and Streamwood Blvd. at noon. Monthly Club Board meetings are held at the Streamwood Park District Community Center, Kiwanis Club of Streamwood Conference Room located at 777 S. Bartlett Road, Streamwood.
